Mother Church of San Gabriel
This jewel of colonial architecture is considered unique in its kind because it is the only church in Ecuador built according to the law of the Indies, that is, outside the main square, and in a place that is visible from any point of view. The church has a Bronze Bell, built in 1936, cast with objects donated by the town of its patron. It has a Latin cross with a left transept for the chapel and a right transept for the sacristy. Its initial construction probably dates back to the 16th century, and its reconstruction in 1869 after the 1868 earthquake, ending in 1895. Paluz Waterfall
This natural attraction is approximately 35 meters. of waterfall formed from the river of the same name. The water is cloudy and polluted due to the crops that exist around it. Archaeological and religious museum of La Purita
